Christmas!

First feeding the horses, then opening presents here, then off to my grandparents. Is it so wrong that I'd prefer to stay home and read http://yuletidetreasure.org/archive/yuletide2006_byfandom.html stories?

I already got up super early to read my story, and I was super rewarded, too. At the Hands of the Wicked is gorgeous, long, plotty and dark. And it's Melusine fic! Which I've been dying for since I read the book.

Now, a little challenge for you, flist. This year I wrote three Yuletide fics. If you can guess one of them, I'll write you 500 words in any fandom I'm familiar with. Two=1000 words, and all three=5000 words. I'll even give you a couple of hints--one of them is in a fandom I've written before. And one of them is seriously bad!wrong, and I feel sort of guilty and sick about it, because I'm not sure it's what the recipient had in mind.

I'm checking out your Melusine fic - I can't believe someone else is a fan. I would never have knowc there was fanfiction for it, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There seems to be fanfiction for just about anything.

I recked my brain and tried to do some research on you, but just couldn`t think of any obscure fandom you might have written a story for...

But if anyone guesses right and doesn`t care for which kind of H/D story you`re writing for them, I just wanted to let you and anyone else know that I`m voting for a new chapter of "Promises To Keep"!

Even if I`d be the only fan waiting for it, I wouldn`t let that deter me from asking for more... ;-)
