1. Are you going to look at every possible spoiler you can before the book comes out? Did you with HBP and how accurate were the ones you saw?

Just the legitimate and semi-legitimate ones :) With HBP, I held out until about three days before the release, and then cracked and read every spoiler I could find. Since I have all the self-control of a crack-fiend, I will probably do the same this time around.

2. What will you do if Amazon (or whoever;) don’t deliver your copy on time, and everyone is reading it except you?

They've (Amazon) never let me down before, so we'll see. Probably just haul ass to the nearest B&N (there are no independent bookshops north of Baltimore) and buy it myself. If I can get someone to go with me, I might do the midnight thing, but I kind of hate people crowds.

3. Will you read the last chapter before anything else? Are you planning to read the book all in one go or are you a slow reader?

Probably not. I may employ my usual method of flipping through the book and skimming a page here and there with my fingers over my eyes. (So not cheating!) I read both HBP and Order in one go, from about 9:30 a.m. when the post office opened to about 2 p.m.

4. What’s your theory on the meaning of “Deathly Hallows?”

Um. It has something to do with a graveyard? Where they'll fight the last battle? Okay, I think it's a silly title.

5. What’s the craziest Harry Potter theory you’ve got, which you could only share with your trusted f-list?

I firmly believe Dumbledore had a secret, evil agenda of his own. Dude, he probably isn't even really dead. If the Order wins the war he'll come back and take over the world.

Also Merope Gaunt's mother was clearly a Black (hence the name.)

6. If you could write in a sub-plot of your own choosing to the main Harry one, what would it be?

Lucius Malfoy and Percy Weasley as spies for the Order.

7. Who do you think will die in the book, and who would you be most upset to see die, even if you don’t think it’s likely?

I'm thinking Ron, Snape, Bellatrix, Percy, Narcissa Malfoy, and Voldemort die. I'll be sad if Snape, Remus, Bellatrix or any of the Malfoys die (although I think it's likely) and thrilled if Arthur, Hagrid, Dobby, or the Dursleys do.

8. Name three main (ish) characters who you think will definitely live and why. Is there a very minor character(s) you really want to have a happy ending?

Harry: I don't think JKR would dare.

Draco: For what he is, in canon, a lot of JKR's time and Harry's energy have been invested in him. He'll survive, if only to spite Harry.

Peter Pettigrew: He's a survivor.

9. If you don’t like the book, or are bitterly disappointed by it, do you think you’ll still stay in the fandom?

I'm more likely to stay in fandom if I don't like it. If I'm totally satisfied, I won't need closure!

10. One word (or concise) answers only!

- Snape: good, evil, own agenda?

own agenda (not precluding the other two options)

- Bill: will he help Remus or just be on permanent honeymoon?

He'll help.

- Peter: a Gryffindor moment or not?

Yes.

- Harry: is he a Horcrux?

No.

- The Weasleys: will they all survive?

No.

- If no to the above: who won’t?

If any of them dies, I think it'll be Ron or Percy (or both); Ron because he's sort of an "extra" in many ways, Percy because it will teach the rest of the family a valuable lesson about forgiveness. Personally, I'd prefer it were Arthur, because I think he's a jerk (did I mention that already?)

- Did Snape love Lily: yay or nay!

No.

- Hogwarts: will they go back to school or not?

Maybe at the end of the book.

- Remus and Tonks: will they get married in the book?

No.

- Bellatrix: who will be her nemesis?

Narcissa.

- The new leader of the OotP is …?

Kingsley Shacklebolt.

- Percy: will he see the error of his ways or not?

No. He's been doing the right thing (by his definition) all along. That's all anyone can do.

11. If Harry could take just one adult Order of the Phoenix member with him on the search for Horcruxes, who should it be and why?

Snape. He knows about Voldemort's evil agenda.

12. Will Remus and Greyback have a confrontation in human or werewolf form? Will Tonks be involved? Who will the other werewolves support?

Yes, yes, and Remus. Werewolves aren't evil, just misunderstood.

13. Who is the person from Harry’s class (and it isn’t him, Ron or Hermione), who will become a Hogwart’s teacher? What subject will they teach?

Draco, and DADA.

14. Do you think Harry will observe Remus looking less lined and walking with a little more of a spring in his step? If so, do you think he'll attribute it to Tonks, and if he does, will he blush?

Observation is not Harry's strong point, but if he does, he'll certainly blush.

15. Will Ginny use, "But Professor Lupin saw the futility of being a noble prat!" for one of her million arguments with Harry about why they should be together? Do you think they’ll get back together at all?

Probably not on the argument, given the age disparity. I think the book will end on an up note for them, yes, but they won't be in a serious relationship or anything.

16. Which house do you think Tonks is in, and why? Is she going to morph into someone important and who will it be?

Slytherin. I think they would have said if she weren't. And there have to be some Slytherins firmly on the side of the righteous. I think she may use her abilities to sneak into a Death Eater meeting or something--something small but key.

17. Who will be revealed to be the heir of Gryffindor?

I can only hope that it's Snape.

18. As JKR has promised the final chapter will be like an epilogue; how do you think the final paragraph (hopefully) donated to Remus’ future, and/or Tonks’, and/or anyone else you want to write a paragraph on, will read?

"Well, Potter," Lucius Malfoy said calmly, "now that I'm Minister of Magic, the time for heroes is past. Run along back to Hogwarts--I'm sure Severus will be more than happy to take time off from his Headmastering duties to help you with your N.E.W.T.s.

19. Which question from the books would it annoy you most not to have answered?

Why the hell do the Death Eaters blindly follow a halfblood?

20. What do you think the last line of the book is?

"Oh, Harry," Hermione said with a sigh. "If you'd just read Howarts: A History when I told you to, the war need never have happened!"

Dumbledore is totally evil. I've been saying it since book 1.

Heh, the meme writer sounds so Remus-centric!
I agree with most of your predictions, especially the ones on who'll live or die.

I like the idea of Tonks being a Slytherin, although there are so many Gryffindors in the series, I wouldn't be surprised if she was one.

And I hope no-one at all is the heir of Gryffindor, or at least, some minor character like Lavender. Be even harder for JKR to uphold the 'choices over blood' theme if she picked like, Harry as his descendent. Plus I'd vomit from the cheesiness.

Percy: will he see the error of his ways or not?

If there's a Weasley I'd pick to see the error of their ways, it'd be the Twins, imho, not Percy who seems to be one of the few likeable personalities to have come from there.
