Oh, dear god, no. I've just been reading this wank, which is half funny, half gross (http://www.journalfen.net/community/otf_wank/519621.html) and so it's a bit of a touchy subject. :)
Most thoroughbreds have two names, actually, a registered name given them by their owner--that is either cutesy "Voldemort's Teddybear" or grand and reflective of the pedigree "England's Rose"--and a barn name given them by the people who work with them--Brownie or Fang or Blaze (or Rosy). I will let you guess which of these is Rosy's registered name.
And thank you--I'm glad you liked both fics. I feel that there can never be enough stories that dealt with young Lucius (and groovy seventies clothes/ music etc!)
I've been thinking a lot lately about Lucius and Snape, and idealism and opportunism, and I need to whip together some meta. But not tonight, at bedtime, when I'm semi-coherent at best!
